Ellen Cuthrell, M.S.

Ellen is an Educational Therapist and ADHD Coach passionate about helping neurodivergent learners—especially those with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences—unlock their full potential. I know every brain works differently, and I’m here to provide the right tools, strategies, and encouragement to help students build confidence, strengthen executive function skills, and succeed in school and life.

I specialize in supporting high school and college students as they navigate and manage their assignments, course curriculum, and daily life responsibilities. From breaking down big projects into manageable steps to developing time management and organization strategies, I help students build skills for academic success My approach is student-centered, strengths-based, and focused on fostering independence and self-advocacy.

I create personalized learning plans, advocate for accommodations, and guide students in developing the executive function skills they need to stay on top of their workload and daily responsibilities. I believe that neurodiversity is a strength, and my goal is to help students embrace their unique ways of learning while overcoming academic challenges.

I hold a Master of Science in Reading, dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology, and a Postgraduate Certification in Dyslexia and Language-Based Learning Disabilities. I’m also certified in Educational Therapy, ADHD & Executive Function Coaching, and Orton-Gillingham instruction, as well as a PA-certified English teacher and Reading Specialist.

Whether I’m coaching a student through time management strategies, completing and organizing assignments, helping families navigate the IEP/504 process, or working with schools to create more inclusive learning environments, my mission is always to empower neurodivergent learners to thrive in school and life.
